I was under the impression that threatening secession was treason. Apparently that doesn’t phase the governor of Texas, or the legislators of Georgia.

Defend Equality by Shepard Fairey
This is the poster (Defend Equality by Shepard Fairey) being used in protests demanding marriage equality across the nation. Pretty powerful imagery here – reminds me of the iconic “black power” symbols and images from the 60’s and 70’s. Six months ago, that imagery might have troubled me. Today, it really doesn’t bother me like it used to.

Let me make this as clear as I possibly can. I regard a vote for McCain/Palin as a direct assault on my personal freedom, happiness and well-being. McCain – and even more so Sarah Palin… …think I should be forced to go to “camp” to re-assign my sexual orientation.
