Dear Mr. Olson: I’m sure that you are receiving many letters from other members of the LGBT community, but I felt it important to write one of my own. I have to admit that when I first heard that you were filing a lawsuit challenging Proposition 8, I feared your motives. I didn’t believe that you had our best interests at heart. I see now that I was wrong, and apologize for my quick and incorrect judgment. Thank you for all of the work you’ve done so far. Your achievements have brought me and my brothers and sisters one step closer to the equality for which we’ve been fighting.
