Dear Amtrak Marketing Team: I just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that the LGBT community is aware that you’re facing some pressure because of your recent advertising campaign targeting LGBT’s. We appreciate your recognition and the advertizing dollars you are spending with LGBT-friendly media. We encourage you not to bow to pressure from intolerant sources, and to maintain your campaign. On a personal note, I frequently use Amtrak for work. I enjoy the convenience and comfort of Acela Express Business Class, and the low-key environment of rail travel in general.
