So over the last week or so, Amazon.com started removing the sales ranking of, and re-classifying into the “Adult” category, all books portraying homosexuality in a positive light, containing gay romances, etc. Authors of these books saw their placement levels drop and their sales begin to tail off. After a massive wave of protests on Twitter and a resulting upsurge of anger and bad press in the blogosphere, Amazon is claiming that they suffered a “Software Glitch.”
Software glitch my ass.
